You’ll stay in our detached, cottage-style holiday apartment comprising a double bedroom with a sleigh bed and pocket-sprung mattress. There’s a Roberts DAB clock radio in the bedroom, plus an alarm clock, independent heating and a floor-standing fan for those hot, sultry nights.

The bathroom

A separate, spacious bathroom on the first floor is complete with toiletries, fluffy towels, a heated towel rail, shaver socket and a wall-mounted fan heater. You can choose between a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower in the luxury shower enclosure.

The living room

On the ground floor you’ll find an entrance hall and living room, with a door opening on to your own private deck. The apartment offers:

  • A 40-inch 4K UHD Smart TV with Freeview HD
  • A Blu-ray player with a selection of DVDs — and now Netflix in stunning 4K/UHD
  • A full-size fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave cooker
  • Cutlery, plates, dishes, cups & saucers, glasses, bottle opener, tin opener, kitchen knives and a chopping board

The apartment is equipped with a full-size fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave cooker, together with all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you need. Local supermarkets have a good supply of ready meals for you to bring back and enjoy in front of the TV, or eat alfresco on the deck with a bottle of your favourite wine.

Your own private deck

You’ll have your own key so you can come and go as you wish. For your exclusive use there is a large raised deck with hardwood furniture overlooking the 1.5-acre woodland garden, accessible from the apartment lounge — the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine.

A good variety of pubs and restaurants are available locally, and our village pub is within walking distance.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our dining room: a full traditional English breakfast with local bacon, sausages and free-range eggs, selected from our menu. Alternatively, you might choose kipper fillets & scrambled eggs served with freshly baked wholemeal bread & butter, or scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and hot buttered toast.
